Our Goal

Reason315 was created for the purpose of equipping the church for ministry through practical biblical teaching and reasoned thought. Our goal is to prepare and mentor Christians, through their own spiritual growth, to be able to interact with those whom they are ministering to, whether they be other believers; people who have never heard the gospel; or those who have heard but have objections or questions.

Approach

Reason315 is dedicated to sound biblical teaching based on an expository approach to the text. We strive to understand the context of the scriptures (historically, socially, and spiritually) in an attempt to bring out the message and spiritual teachings that the authors, human and divine, intended to convey. We believe there is objective truth in the scriptures; therefore, we do not try to subjectivize the meaning to develop messages that achieve our goals or desires. Instead, our mission, is to bring out the message that is in the scriptures. In addition to sound biblical teaching, our goal is to use rational thought and reason to apply these teachings and principles to our lives as Christians today. This includes studying the people, culture and issues of both our past and present time in order to connect people, churched and non-churched, to the objective biblical truth of scripture.
